Tara Sutaria began her career as a young performer on Disney India, hosting and acting in popular sitcoms. Her strong foundation in classical ballet, modern and Latin dance—not to mention her vocal training—sets her apart as a uniquely trained performer. She transitioned to Bollywood with a strong debut in Student of the Year 2 (2019), where her nuanced portrayal earned her critical recognition as a promising newcomer.

Since then, Tara has embraced a variety of roles, spanning the emotionally charged Marjaavaan, the intense romantic thriller Tadap, the high-octane action sequel Heropanti 2, and the psychological thriller Ek Villain Returns. In 2023, she took on the lead in Apurva, a survival drama that showcased her ability to anchor a compelling solo film.
