Tahira Kashyap Khurrana is an Indian filmmaker, writer, and cancer survivor known for her compelling storytelling across various mediums. She began her career as a professor and later became the programming head at BIG 92.7 FM before venturing into filmmaking. She made her directorial debut with the short film Toffee (2017) and later directed the feature film Sharmajee Ki Beti (2024), a Hindi-language comedy-drama that received critical acclaim.

Beyond filmmaking, Tahira is an accomplished author with books like I Promise and Souled Out. She is also a vocal advocate for women’s rights and body positivity, using her platform to inspire and empower others. Her resilience and openness about her personal battles, including her journey through breast cancer, have made her a role model for many. Known for her creativity, determination, and impactful storytelling, Tahira continues to influence and inspire audiences in both literature and cinema.
