Rekha Surya is an acclaimed Indian light-classical vocalist, renowned for her soulful renditions of Ghazal, Dadra, Thumri, Kajri, and Sufi poetry. As one of the last disciples of the legendary Begum Akhtar and later trained under Girija Devi, she carries forward the rich traditions of the Lucknow Gharana with depth, elegance, and emotional resonance.

Born in Lucknow and based in New Delhi, Rekha has dedicated her life to preserving and promoting Hindustani light classical music on global platforms. She has performed extensively across India and abroad, representing India at prestigious cultural institutions, festivals, and universities worldwide.

An A-Grade artist with All India Radio and an empaneled performer with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Rekha is also a recipient of the Karamveer Puraskar for using music as a medium for social change.
