Rudra Pratap Singh, popularly known as R.P. Singh, was India’s left-arm swing sensation during the mid-2000s. Blessed with the ability to move the ball both ways at pace, he rose to prominence with impactful spells in Tests and limited-overs cricket, often providing India with early breakthroughs. His defining moment came during the inaugural 2007 ICC T20 World Cup, where he emerged as one of the tournament’s top wicket-takers and played a pivotal role in India’s historic title win under M.S. Dhoni.
