Born in India and trained in Melbourne, Helly left her corporate healthcare
career to follow her culinary calling. What began as intimate pop-up dinners in
her home soon evolved into one of Australia’s most sought-after dining
experiences, celebrated for its seasonal, region-specific Indian menus served in
multi-course degustation format.
Her work is deeply rooted in culture, memory, and migration. Each dish she
creates is a narrative*whether it’s inspired by tribal flavors from Gujarat or
royal Rajasthani kitchens, Helly invites guests into a journey that is equal parts
nostalgic and innovative. She sources ingredients mindfully, cooks with
emotional depth, and crafts plates that speak to both ancestry and artistry.
