Col (Dr) Andy Anil is an entrepreneur who has founded two successful Ed-Tech start-ups viz Disha Kiran in India & MapMyMind in UK working with the Government, reputed educational institutes and international corporate brands for psychometric assessments, wellness, mental health & employee engagement. He has worked relentlessly to help children identify their true passion by launching the Disha Kiran app in 12 Indian languages and reaching more than 2 lac children across the country.

A PhD from IIT Delhi in Nano-composites applications for ballistic protection, he is a pioneer in indigenous bullet proof jackets. He is also responsible for the creation of Centre of excellence for ballistics at IIT Delhi.

As an Officer of India Army Col Andy has had wide operational experience across the geography of India including high altitude and desert terrain. He was a tank technology expert and had been the General Manager of Army Base Workshop manufacturing indigenous tanks for the Indian Army. He has the distinction of representing the Indian Army in Democratic Republic of Congo as a United Nation peacekeeper.

He is a music aficionado and has deep interest in Hindustani and Carnatic classical music forms. He lives with his family in Delhi.
