Lieutenant General Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon is a highly respected retired officer of the Indian Army known for his distinguished military service and strategic leadership. Throughout his extensive career, he held several important command and intelligence positions, earning recognition for his dedication, operational excellence, and commitment to national security.
Among his notable appointments, he served as the Director General Defence Intelligence Agency (DG DIA) and Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Intelligence), where he played an important role in strengthening India’s defence intelligence and strategic coordination. He also served as the 48th Commander of the XV Corps (Chinar Corps), leading significant operational and counter-insurgency efforts in Jammu & Kashmir.
